The Lake Louise Ski Area is now OPEN!!
Skiers and snowboarders will be able to experience those delightful first turns of the season from the top of Glacier Express chair down three runs: Bald Eagle, Wiwaxy and Easy Street.
These runs provide a vertical drop of 1,450 vertical feet and offer a run in excess of 3 kilometers. With a little co-operation from Mother Nature, more runs and lifts should be opening soon.
All amenities at the full service base lodge will be open, including food and beverage facilities, retail, rental and repair shops, the daycare and ski school.
With limited terrain open, reduced lift tickets will be in effect. Adults can ski for $38.00, seniors and youths $26.40, and children for $12.50.
Louise Card holders will receive a $10 discount and do not have to use their first free day.
The Lake Louise Terrain Park is coming back with a vengeance for the 2009/10 season!!
The Lake is excited to announce that world-renowned park designer Jeff Patterson is returning to supervise the 09/10 park’s construction. Expect to see new rail, box, and jump features for all ability levels.
For the first few weeks of operation, they plan to provide some temporary rail features on Easy Street.
The early season park will have a little bit of everything to keep park skiers & riders entertained until the official park opens in January!
