Hi guys, Did some calling around this morning, seeing which is the best season's pass to buy, mostly for the reciprocal discount aspect of it. Fernie: $149 until June 28. No reciprocal discounts at any other resorts. Kicking Horse: $ 189 if you buy by Sunday. 25% off at COP, Pano, Silver Star, Sun Peaks, Mt Washington and supposedly Fernie. I told the woman what Fernie told me and she laughed. Sounds like Fernie is the boob of the industry. She said they will call Fernie and see what's up. COP: 25% off at KH, 20% at Pano, 25% at Rabbit Hill (Edmonton), and 25% at Sun Peaks. Pano: $219. Guest services didn't know about recoprocal discounts, and the person who knew is away until Friday. Sun Peaks: $299. 25% at Silver Star, and likely 25% at Pano (she said Pano is not confirmed yet, but likely will be as they did last year). Silver Star: $329. Ouch! 25% at KH, Sun Peaks 25% and 25% at Pano. There is also something called the BroCard that you can buy online for $24.95 from NSMB (North Shore Mountain Biking) mag that gives discounts: www.nsmb.com/brocard/view/category/#bike_parksresortsWhistler: there is a triple play card that's on sale for $115 until June 19: www.whistlerbike.com/tickets-passes/cards/index.htmI'm thinking that the Whistler triple play card will be worthwhile, and also likely a KH pass, mostly for the Silver Star discount. Hope this helps!

Yeah Fernie is the boob alright but I will still get the pass as I am there so much. Good thing the COP card helps a bit. Happy riding

That KH pass is looking mighty nice...darn this month is getting expensive. Of course buying a new bike didn't help.
Anyone interested in buying a 2007 SX Trail 2 (small)?

Hey Janet,
Not to be daft but is that a DH bike? I have a girlfriend in Canmore looking for a small DH bike. If so, send me a pick and how much and I'll forward it on.

So I didn't end up getting the KH or triple play card...just bought Fernie season's passes and a BroCard. Hopefully both will be worthwhile. BTW, for those of you who collect Airmiles...you can redeem Airmiles to get lift tix for Pano and Whistler. They take about a week to arrive in the mail.
